It is my sad duty to inform you of the passing on February 5 of our former DSR Chair and Department of History colleague, Joseph Goering. Joe was Chair from 1997 to 2002 – indeed, he was Pamela Klassen’s first Chair here and she has fond memories of his leadership and generosity.
