The Department of Religion allows students to audit courses under certain conditions:
- Auditors must have the permission of the instructor.
- The classroom size can accommodate auditing students.
Students registered in the University, senior citizens, and employees of the University will not be charged an audit fee. All other auditors will be charged 40% of the tuition fee per course. Auditors are not evaluated, do not submit assignments, and do not write tests and examinations. The Department for the Study of Religion does not issue a Certificate of Attendance and therefore does not keep a record of attendance. To audit a course please email religion.undergrad@utoronto.ca.
