Biography
Christina is a doctoral student at the Department for the Study of Religion, with specific research interests in the early Jesus movement, cultic decline, and social networks and elective cults. She obtained her BA at the University of Toronto in Religion and Sociology in June 2019 and completed her MA at the DSR in 2021. Her current research examines the diffusion of Christianity from the crucifixion of Christ through to its official adoption throughout the Roman Empire, centralizing the role of social networks and the intricacies of cultic affiliation and disaffiliation in Mediterranean antiquity.
