Symposium: "Manuscript Cultures Across Africa & Asia"

Including the participation of DSR faculty Suleyman Dost, Christop Emmrich and Walid Saleh, and students Sloane Geddes, River Hobel, Bryon Maxey and Ian Turner.

University of Toronto (UofT) professors, postdoctoral fellows, and PhD students present their work on non-Western manuscripts. Specifically focusing on research occurring across U of T’s three campuses, the event highlights and celebrates the work being conducted on manuscript cultures outside of Europe and non-Indigenous North America at the University, work which currently pertains primarily to the regions of Africa and Asia.
