The Department for the Study of Religion is looking for its next cohort of outstanding graduate students. Our highly competitive MA and PhD programs provide exceptional research opportunities and access to the interdisciplinary strengths of one of North America’s top universities, situated in the heart of Toronto.

On Friday November 8, 2024 from 12-1 pm EST we will host an online Graduate Studies Open House Info Session where you can learn more about our program from J. Barton Scott, our Director of Graduate Studies, and Fereshteh Hashemi, our Graduate Administrator. We will give you tips on our program and admissions process, as well as providing plenty of space for your great questions. Please email Fereshteh Hashemi at religion.grad@utoronto.ca to register for this event.      

Our admission process is open from October 1, 2024 to December 13, 2024. Admission decisions are communicated between February and April 2025.
