Biography

Maor Oz is a PhD student at the University of Toronto's Department for the Study of Religion in collaboration with the Anne Tanenbaum Centre for Jewish Studies. Maor is an alumnus of Uppsala University and the University of Toronto, where he has earned degrees in Linguistics, Jewish Studies, and Cultural Anthropology. His research focuses on migrations and food practices of Jews from the Arab world, in contemporary Europe.
