Biography
Jon-Philippe's (JP's) topic concerns ancient spatial imaginaries in general, and the spatial rhetoric found in the letter to the Colossians in conversation with the Lycus Valley region specifically. As a heuristic, JP engages text through topography (including human-made infrastructure and natural markers), material culture (textiles and other forms of production); and social networks (how people from various socio-economic locations interact). JP enjoys dynamic intersections and interdisciplinary approaches and is always excited to collaborate with diverse people, ideas, and disciplines.
